Hey.  My name is Brad Kuehner.  For my entire life, I have known that I was destined to perform, create, and share music with any and everyone who will listen. 

I began taking choir and trying out and performing in school plays and musicals. Shortly after joining my first band, as a drummer, my freshman year in high school, I began learning to play the acoustic guitar. It seemed like no time at all before I took on the role of the worship leader for Life Christian Fellowship, a church in Pelham. After high school, I attended UAB where I majored in Music Performance, with an emphasis in Percussion, where among other things, I refined my musical knowledge and learned to play the piano.

After college, I continued my craft while working in leadership at a child care center. Although I knew it instinctively, my experience with children added practical knowledge of the value of music in teaching even the youngest of children.  That sparked my interest, and after some in depth research, I was astounded at the impact of music on young lives!

All children need to actively participate in musical activities! Every article, magazine, professional journal, book and website I found on the topic hammered home one point: when it comes to music and the development, happiness, nurture and growth of children; the more direct interaction with music--and the production of music--the better! 

So I got started. I created a fun and exciting musical curriculum that explores the basic aspects of music, from discovering beats and rhythms to sing-a-longs; from creating and improvising songs to playing various instruments; from singing and dancing to writing and performing songs!

In Tune Kids® was born!
